Blake Lively is back on her social media behavior. On Jan. 3, the actor demonstrated the size of her growing baby bump in side-by-side photos before and during her current pregnancy. "Been doing @donsaladino's workout program for months now. Something isn't working," she captioned the post featuring her longtime personal trainer, Don Saladino.
Jokes aside, Lively actually told Forbes in May that motherhood has made her more confident in her body. "I never felt more myself or at ease in my own body or more confident - not to say that there aren't a bevy of insecurities coming at me a million times a day, but I just feel incredibly settled," she told the publication.
Lively announced her fourth pregnancy in September 2022 by debuting her baby bump at the Forbes Power Women's Summit. Her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, later expressed his excitement in a November interview with Entertainment Tonight, saying, "You'd have to be a moron to do this four times if you didn't like it." Lively and Reynolds share three daughters: James, 8, Inez, 6, and Betty, 3.
The mother of three has previously gotten real about getting back in shape (with Saladino's help) after pregnancy. "Turns out you can't lose the 61 lbs you gained during pregnancy by just scrolling through instragram and wondering why you don't look like all the bikini models," she wrote in a 2018 Instagram following Inez's arrival. "10 months to gain, 14 months to lose. Feeling very proud."
As her fans will know, a big part of Lively's social media presence is her candor. In December 2022, Lively jokingly criticized her husband for cropping out her shoes in his Instagram post, leaving Reynolds an eye-roll emoji. Weeks prior, Lively worked some humor into her heartfelt speech about Reynolds as a father. "Soaked in mud, fake blood, real blood, prosthetic scars, superhero suits, tap shoes, or clown makeup, daddy always comes home," she told the crowd at the American Cinematheque Awards.
